Communication interface

e-Timestamping is offered via a simple web interface. The user can authenticate himself using this interface and request e-Timestamps. This is all done via https which guarantees the confidentiality of the communication. The authentication is performed on the basis of a digital Certipost certificate.

e-Timestamping servers

The e-Timestamping servers create the timestamps and sign them digitally. After receipt of a request for a time stamp, the timestamping server will send a response containing the signed time stamp (time stamp token). The time stamps released comply with the RFC3161 standard.

Universal time source

We use a very accurate, secure and irrefutably correct time source for e-Timestamping. The timestamping servers are regularly synchronised with these universal time sources.
