Certipost automatiseert elektronische facturatie voor Microsoft Dynamics
Aalst, Diegem - 21 August 2007
Certipost, the joint venture between Belgacom and De Post for a secure electronic communication exchange, launches a new service for users of Microsoft’s automation software. Sending and receiving electronic invoices has just become very simple for these users. Certipost has commercialised a standard software module that allows you to get started immediately and brings electronic billing with its administrative simplification and cost cuts within reach of yet another large group of companies.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0.’s e-Invoicing module is standard software that any IT partner is able to install on top of the existing software. It enables Microsoft Dynamics NAV users to exchange electronic invoices over the CertiONE electronic communication platform.
In addition to increased security, the administrative simplification results in time savings and cost cuts. And companies that switch to electronic billing also make a considerable contribution to a better environment.
Studies have shown that an electronic invoice may save you up to six euro compared to the paper version. Outgoing invoices no longer need to be printed and put in an envelope.
Incoming electronic invoices are automatically processed and read in the accounting system. This also offers extra advantages for companies that want to keep analytical accounts. After all, a lot of detailed information can be added to electronic invoices.
Analytical accounts
Certipost uses the software module on its own Microsoft Dynamics NAV software. Guy Provoost, business controller of Certipost: "We automatically process every line of an incoming invoice down to detail level. In this way we link the costs of fuel, mobile and fixed telephony automatically to ledger accounts, cost centres and users. It saves us a lot of time and gives us a clear understanding of our cost structure."
Companies that process a lot of goods are able to use the extra detail information in electronic invoices to link article numbers of suppliers to their own article numbers. In this way the supply management can be partly automated thanks to the information on the invoices.
"Microsoft Dynamics NAV saves time and money because all employees of an organisation have a good understanding of the customers, stocks and flows of money", says Marc Charlier, Microsoft Dynamics manager at Microsoft BeLux. "And Certipost’s software adds operating ease, rapidly accessible information and security. We are convinced that this new service is not only a major added value for Microsoft Dynamics NAV but also for our customers and users."
Microsoft Dynamics NAV users who opt for the e-Invoicing module also reach an agreement with Certipost for this. This gives them access to CertiONE, an automatic distribution centre for electronic documents. CertiONE ensures that sent documents are converted to the electronic format of the recipient’s choice if necessary.
More than 23,000 companies currently use CertiONE for the exchange of electronic documents.
