Electronic invoicing with its administrative simplicity and cost savings is again within the reach of another whole group of businesses.
The e-invoicing module for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0. is a standard software package that any IT partner can install alongside existing software. Microsoft Dynamics NAV users can thus exchange electronic invoices via the electronic communication platform CertiONE.
Incoming electronic invoices are automatically processed and read into the accounting system. This also offers extra advantages for companies that want to perform analytical bookkeeping. Electronic invoices can, after all, contain a great deal of additional detailed information.
Companies that process a lot of goods can use the extra detailed information from electronic invoices to couple suppliers’ article numbers to their own. This means that stock management can be partially automated thanks to the information on the invoices.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV users who opt for the e-invoicing module also sign a contract for this with Certipost. This gives them access to CertiONE, an automatic distribution centre for electronic documents. CertiONE ensures that despatched documents are converted, if necessary, into the electronic format required by the recipient.
There are currently approximately 23,000 companies using CertiONE to exchange electronic documents.
